Voice (Supporting Education and Learning), or V SEAL, was set up in 1999 by The Professional Association of Teachers, which is now Voice: the union for education professionals. As a charity we are entirely independent of the initiating body and all other organisations. The charity can give support in education and childcare when attention is needed. The remit also covers needy founding body members. Small in size, we are big in energy and heart. That means we may be able to address needs
not met by others and can sometimes provide resources where others cannot do so. Registered charity number 1077833
Charity affairs are managed by elected trustees with the assistance of very competent specialists. All give their time and services voluntarily. The present trustees are linked to education and childcare, with wide experience from nursery to tertiary and all have been active in Voice: the union for education professionals. Each has been involved in other situations and pursuits giving them a breadth and depth of understanding useful in assessing and meeting the diverse needs which are brought to their attention.
